I’ve been using Bayan’s (the telecom formerly known as Bayantel) DSL service since the lowest plan they gave was 128kbps. Like a relationship, we had our ups and downs and this time we are on the upside again! They just had another speed upgrade so the P 899.00 I was paying them years ago for 128kbps is now at 768kbps!!! They started doing upgrades on Nov 1, and the PinoyDSL community got wind of it immediately (thanks to one of the forumers who is an agent for Bayan). The first people who requested for the upgrade were met with disappointment since the information was so new, their hotline 411200 people were not yet informed of it. But now, you can request for the upgrade and in a matter of hours, the new speed will take effect. No new contracts. No new lock-in periods. It’s the real deal.
The only setback I encountered when I had the upgrade was that I was not able to sign in when I tried to reconnect for SOD. They changed my password. They do this apparently to ensure that the upgrade would take effect (this is what I was told). So I asked them shouldn’t there be someone to inform me that my password has been changed? How would I be able to go online if I’d be getting the error 691 (username/password incorrect error code)? Guess what, I was told that they did inform me through my free e-mail (username@skydsl.com.ph) with their company.

Your speed would be burst up to 1280kbps from 10pm up to 10 am. Your password is same as username.

what the fuck?! the service sucks! i have that plan to that 899 well my connection can’t even reach 380+ speed and hardly 300 kbps. And i’ve been reporting for almost 2 months now, and still there is no sign of any changes. Fck off i am really pissed telling that your service is great well i must tell you not for everyone check all ‘em before speaking of who you think you are. And by the way all your DSL workers sucks and cock.
i think they put off that plan?!? me form 768kbps dropped again to old one 368kbps.. mm.. what can i do?
